A Dresden man is accused of intentionally backing his car into another person and striking them during a domestic dispute in Ontario County.
According to investigators, Blake Randolph and a 44-year-old woman became involved in a domestic dispute while driving on Lake to Lake Road in the town of Gorham Friday night. The unidentified woman got out of the car and the 27-year-old Randolph is accused of backing the car at a high rate of speed and striking her.
The woman was taken to Thompson Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Randolph was located nearby and was charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated. He was also charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, reckless driving, unsafe backing, assault, and two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Randolph was brought to Ontario County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
