A Bloomfield road was shut down for part of Friday while crews dealt with a truck fire.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies and members of the East Bloomfield Fire Department went to the area of 35 East Main Street just after 11:00a for the report of a pickup truck on fire. On scene, they found a 2008 Dodge Ram completely engulfed in flames.
It was determined that the driver, Dean Nohle, was driving when he lost power and pulled over. He called 911 after noticing smoke coming from the engine compartment.
Crews made short work of the fire.
The fire’s cause is unknown but officials say it does not appear suspicious at the time.
