UPDATE: A decision to reduce, or dismiss, the charges entirely against three Clyde-Savannah teens accused of sexually assaulting another teen in the football locker room of their high school was postponed Wednesday.
Following a lengthy pre-trial discussion, a decision was made in Wayne County Court to adjourn the case until February 2nd. The teens, ages 15, 16, and 17 are charged with sexual abuse, hazing, and forcible touching stemming from the alleged Halloween assault on a 14-year-old boy. Investigators say the incident was recorded and shared on social media.
A fourth teen, a 14-year-old, is charged with unlawful surveillance and is having his case handled in Family Court.
The three Clyde-Savannah teenagers, who are accused of sexually assaulting another student in a locker room, will be back in court today. The attack took place before football practice last October.
The judge decided to move the case to Youth Part Court, meaning the case details will be made public.
