A little more than $2 million from the state’s Water Infrastructure Improvement grant program is headed to the city of Geneva for clean water projects.
Governor Kathy Hochul announced that not only was the Ontario County city the recipient of a $2.3 million Water Infrastructure Improvement Grant but will receive $6.9 million in short-term, interest-free financing as well.
The financing and grant money will be used for the planning, design, and construction of upgrades at the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
