The finalists for the vacant Canandaigua Town Manager position will be interviewed by the town board on Wednesday. The interviews will be held in the morning and in executive session. The number of finalists being interviewed was not disclosed.
The person hired will be in charge of implementing and administrating all laws, town codes, resolutions, and policies. According to the job description, the Town Manager will work to facilitate the Town government’s administrative, financial, personnel, and operational needs.
The job pays between $100,000 and $140,000 annually with full benefits and state retirement.
The town’s last manager, Doug Finch, left in January to take a similar job in Duncanville, Texas.
