The Canandaigua man convicted of raping a teenage girl he met on social media and holding her captive for 48 hours will spend the next 35 years of his life behind bars.
Alexander Kise was convicted in March of sexually assaulting, injuring, and threatening the victim during those two days in June of 2022. According to the Ontario County District Attorney’s Office, Kise was sentenced to 35 years in prison last Friday.
The 21-year-old Kise could get even more time in prison in a separate case after he, his girlfriend, and a 16-year-old, were all charged with plotting to kill the judge who presided over his trial and the Ontario County Assistant District Attorney. The trio is all facing charges of attempted murder.
