The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Canandaigua man following a larceny investigation.
Deputies say 53-year-old Michael Dailey was taken into custody on Monday night. According to investigators, Dailey was working for a catering company at a wedding when he allegedly stole cards containing cash and checks. He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.
Dailey was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge in Naples Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
