Canandaigua Man Accused of Public Lewdness Appears In Court

Following an appearance in City Court on Friday, a Canandaigua sex offender was sent back to jail after being arrested three times last month for public lewdness.

Paul Goodrell appeared in court for a parole revocation hearing which was adjourned to provide his attorney with more time to review the case. Goodrell was arrested in December for three separate incidents where he allegedly exposed himself to young children in several stores. He was released from police custody after his first two arrests.

Law enforcement is continuing to look into reports that Goodrell was in the area of the Eastview Mall and surrounding stores at various times early last month
