Canandaigua Capital Project Gets Voter Approval

Voters in the Canandaigua City School District approved the $70.23 million Revitalization Capital Project on Tuesday, with 755 votes in favor and 283 votes against.

The project will be partially funded by $13.45 million in reserve funds. Proposed improvements will impact all district buildings and include a wide range of upgrades.

Key renovations will focus on enhancing safety with new doors, upgrading infrastructure like IT systems, bathrooms, and stairwells, and improving academic spaces. Additional improvements include new roofs, updated athletic facilities, new playgrounds, and various other upgrades.
