An early morning shooting in the city of Geneva is under investigation.
At around 1:40 a.m. officers reported hearing several gunshots in the area of Main and Castle Streets. A short time later they found a 33-year-old Geneva man inside the Byrne Dairy on Castle suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower body. The victim was taken to a Rochester hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police believe this is an isolated incident with no known threats to the public. No information about a suspect was released.
