In support of the Town of Seneca Falls’ tourism, community events, & downtown activation the Bonafiglia Family Foundation has distributed $12,500 toward the 2024 It’s A Wonderful Life Festival. Funds are being used to help with areas such as marketing & promotions, weekend events, & travel costs, & professional fees for actors & guests such as Karolyn Grimes “Zuzu Bailey”.
“Initiatives like the It’s A Wonderful Life Festival are transforming for the Town of Seneca Falls”, states Judy Wentzel, Executive Director for the Bonafiglia Family Foundation, “people from all over the world come to visit our small town, it’s a pride point for our community & greatly influences the economic vitality of downtown Seneca Falls.”
The It’s a Wonderful Life Museum is responsible for coordinating participation from actors & individuals associated with the It’s A Wonderful Life film & working with these groups to promote the film’s message and its history during the festival.
“Karolyn Grimes (“Zuzu Bailey”) has been coming to Seneca Falls for 22 years”, states Anwei Law, President of It’s a Wonderful Life Museum, “she has introduced thousands of visitors to the real Bedford Falls and her presence at the festival is being made possible by the Bonafiglia Family Foundation.”
The It’s A Wonderful Life Festival will take place on Friday, December 13th – Sunday, December 15th. A new event this year is Lights, Camera, Action. Ten stations will be set up throughout town, each inviting participants to complete a small activity inspired by the It’s A Wonderful Life Movie. Participants can capture each activity with a photo or video to be displayed at the It’s A Wonderful Life Festival headquarters, & one lucky participant will win a $100 prize!
