An arrest has been made as a result of an investigation into a reported forcible touching and public lewdness incident that allegedly happened last month at Wayne Behavioral Health in Lyons.
On February 10th, a victim reported that while waiting in the vestibule of the facility, they were allegedly touched inappropriately by an unknown male, who was later identified as 24-year-old David Snyder, of Lyons. Snyder is also accused of attempting to force the victim’s hand toward his groin. An additional victim, who is under the age of 17, reported that Snyder performed a lewd act in front of them while in the main entrance lobby.
The following day, another victim reported Snyder attempted to force them to perform oral sex on him.
State Police arrested Snyder on endangering the welfare of a child, forcible touching, public lewdness, and harassment charges, all misdemeanors.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
