911 Call Played in Seneca County Murder Trial

SHARE NOW

Jurors in a Seneca County homicide trial last week heard the 911 call from the man who saw Wayne Ellison Jr. fatally shoot William Waugh.

The Finger Lakes Times reports the call from Sean D’Eredita was played during the trial of Christopher Kesterson. He is accused of driving Ellison to D’Eredita’s home on Route 96 in the Town of Waterloo.

Waugh, who grew up in Waterloo, was a Texas resident at the time of his death. He was visiting for a wedding.

Ellison last week pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter before his joint trial with Kesterson was to begin.

Kesterson’s trial continues in Seneca County Court.
