The Finger Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2025 Chamber Cup Golf Tournament at Silver Creek Golf Course in Waterloo. There were 31 teams made up of businesses from around the Finger Lakes that signed up to participate in the tournament. In addition to the teams, there were also 31 businesses and organizations that signed up for on-course advertising at this year’s event, and 19 that included the option to have staff members present at the event in the form of vendor booths, interacting with the golfers.

For the second year in a row, Dominguez Marketing of Tonawanda, New York, were the winners. Dominguez Marketing is owned by Mark Dominguez, a website and SEO expert, offering website building, hosting, and marketing solutions for his customers throughout New York State and beyond.

Promotional Sponsors for the tournament were Guardian Glass Geneva and CFCU Community Credit Union. Additional sponsors were FLX Retreats and Bank of the Finger Lakes as Community Contributors, and Tradition Automotive Group as the Hole-In-One Sponsor. Additional Support was provided by Wegmans of Geneva and Tierney Pension Administration.

The 2025 Chamber Cup Golf Tournament was coordinated by Tara Sauve, the Chamber’s director of Marketing and Member Engagement. “Tara took over this year’s event, coordinating all major details and recruitment efforts, resulting in one of our most successful annual fundraisers to date,” stated Miranda Odell, Chamber President. “Thank you to all of this year’s sponsors and supporters, and congratulations to Tara,” she added.

Sauve noted that the event received assistance from a group of volunteers, also known as the Chamber Ambassadors. “Thank you again to this year’s ambassador committee for all of the time and effort put in to assisting with event donations for our raffle and working at the on-course games.”

The event was also supported by the Chamber’s 2025 Annual Partners: Canandaigua National Bank, Casella Waste Systems Inc, Community Broadband Networks, Fairfield by Marriott, Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union, Finger Lakes Partners Insurance, Four Winds Chimney, Guardian Glass, Massa Construction, N-Hance of the Finger Lakes, Pedulla’s Wine & Liquor, Potter Heating & Cooling, Seneca Lake Resorts, and Waterloo Container.

As one of the Chamber’s main annual events, the Golf Tournament is one of the primary fundraisers that provides proceeds for key programs, benefits, and new initiatives to support and promote the Chamber’s customers and member businesses.
