Pride is celebrated in the month of June has its roots in the LGBTQ+ rights movement and commemorates an important event in LGBTQ+ history known as the Stonewall Riots.
Pride has now become a celebration of all of the beautiful identities that make up our community.
Saturday was the 10th Annual FLX Pride Fest on the Seneca Lakefront presented by Family Counseling Service.
The event was sponsored by the Greater Rochester Health Foundation, Canandagiua National Bank & Trust, UR Medicine Thompson Health, CFCU Community Credit Union, Crown Jewelry, FLX Local Media, Cornell AgriTech, Kindred Fare, Rochester Regional Health, Vinny Croce Photography & Graphic Design, Savvy Ally Action, Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church-Penn Yan, Billsboro Winery, Finger Lakes Community Health, and Ravines.
