The Great New York State Fair is giving fairgoers one last opportunity to save on admission before regular-priced tickets go on sale.

Fair officials announced the return of the annual “Spring into Summer” ticket sale, which will run from June 18 through June 22. During the promotion, single-day admission tickets will be available for $6 each, representing a 25 percent discount from the regular admission price.

The limited-time offer comes as preparations continue for the 2026 Fair, which opens August 26 and runs through Labor Day, September 7.

Fair Director Julie LaFave said the sale provides visitors with the best admission value available before opening day.

“The countdown to opening day is on, and this is the ideal time to begin planning your visit to The Fair,” LaFave said. “For $6, you can access world-class entertainment, incredible food, exciting attractions, and create unforgettable memories.”

Spanning 375 acres, the State Fair features agricultural exhibits, Midway rides, food vendors, daily entertainment, demonstrations, and the Chevrolet Music Series, which includes dozens of national recording artists.

Admission remains free for children age 12 and younger as well as adults age 65 and older.

Tickets will be available beginning at 9 a.m. on June 18 through the Fair’s website and by phone through Etix. Including fees, the total cost of each discounted admission ticket will be $6.28.

Officials noted that admission includes access to hundreds of exhibits, attractions, and entertainment offerings, helping make the New York State Fair one of the state’s most affordable summer destinations.

The 2026 Great New York State Fair will run from Wednesday, August 26, through Monday, September 7, at the fairgrounds in Syracuse.
