The Geneva Local Development Corp. is hosting a meeting on Monday to gather ideas for family-friendly events in local neighborhoods for 2025.
The meeting at the Bozzuto Center for Entrepreneurship will begin at 6:30 p.m., with a brief presentation at 6:45 p.m. Participants will then break into small groups to brainstorm event ideas for the coming year.
Past successful neighborhood events have included activities like the Pumpkin Roll, musical porches, garden walks, food truck rodeos, bike rodeos, and holiday decorating contests.
In a release, the LDC said, “Many neighbors, young and old, are excited to begin to plan neighborhood events and celebrations to be held in 2025. The LDC will host a year-end celebration event to recognize neighborhood event volunteers and highlight the variety of fun, family-friendly, successful events held in the City of Geneva in 2025.”
All interested residents are welcome.
