Funeral Set for Former Waterloo Congressional Candidate

Funeral arrangements have been released for David Wagenhauser, the Waterloo man who challenged Claudia Tenney for the 24th Congressional District in November. The 65-year-old passed away on January 11th at Strong Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

A time for family and friends to gather will be held Friday from 4 until 7 at the Doran Funeral Home in Seneca Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday morning at 10 at St Mary’s Church, Waterloo.

Congresswoman Claudia Tenney released a statement regarding the death of Wagenhauser:

“I am very sad to hear that my former opponent, David Wagenhauser, passed away. My deepest condolences to his family during this unexpected tragedy.”
