Farmers will have more time to work in the fields this summer.
That’s because there will be no Empire Farm Days show. The largest outdoor farm show in the Northeast has been cancelled and its future is uncertain.
It was scheduled to run August 1st to 3rd at Palladino Farms in Pompey. The family-owned farm has been the host location since 2021.
Before that Empire Farm Days was held in Seneca Falls at the Rodman Lott and Sons Farm for 32 years.
In a Facebook message, the cost of staging the show, especially transporting lots of heavy equipment, contributed to the decision to cancel Empire Farm Days.
