Work continues on Cayuga Community College’s Workforce Development Center at the former Cornell Cooperative Extension site on Grant Ave.
While on the College’s “Inside Government” program, CCC President Doctor Brian Durant shared his vision for the center.
“That building itself is going to be focused on having classrooms and conference rooms and facilities that are going to encourage businesses to come in and provide training.”
Durant adds this will be good for both the college and Auburn as a whole.
“We’re going to be able to leverage that facility to have a central identity at a high profile, high traffic area here in Auburn to be able to make sure that we have a facility adequate with a number of partners with us.”
The building is expected to open by the Spring or Summer of 2024.
