Where to Recycle Eclipse Glasses in Cayuga County?

Six Cayuga County sites will allow you to recycle your eclipse glasses.

In partnership with Reuse Refuge, the Cayuga County Tourism Office is collecting eclipse glasses to be sent to communities that can use them for the next eclipse.

Drop-off sites include:

  • Reuse Refuge: 144 Genesee St. Suite 104, Auburn
  • NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center: 25 South St. Auburn
  • Seymour Library: 176 Genesee St. Auburn
  • onePhoto’s Main Street Emporium: 567 Main St. Fair Haven
  • Sterling Nature Center: 15730 Jensvold Rd. Sterling
  • Cayuga Lake National Bank: 165 Cayuga St. Union Springs

The tourism office asks all glasses be turned in by the 20th.

The Rochester Museum and Science Center is also collecting glasses with several drop-off points across the Finger Lakes.
