One local library is seeking community-minded individuals to join its Board of Trustees.
The Weedsport Free Library has opened applications for Town of Brutus residents and/or Weedsport Central School District residents to join the board. Members serve three-year terms and support programming and outreach efforts, guide the library’s mission, and ensure proper resource management.
Applicants are asked to answer the following questions and send them along with a brief introduction to [email protected] no later than Friday, November 28. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- What draws you to serve on the library board?
- Do you have any experience with nonprofit boards, community service, or leadership roles?
- What skills or perspectives would you bring to the Board?
These terms would begin on January 1.
