Gregory Stone has been chosen as Weedsport Central School District’s new superintendent.
Currently, Stone serves as ELA and Elementary Education Director at the North Syracuse Central School District, a position he has held since 2019.
If contract negotiations are successful, Stone will officially take his new position on January 2.
“We believe Greg possesses the experience, dedication, and innovative vision needed to lead our school district into the future; we are super excited to welcome him as our next Superintendent” stated Chad Mitchell, President of the Weedsport Board of Education. “His focus on students and his collaborative approach will empower our educators and staff to provide the best possible education for our students. Greg’s vision and leadership will be a significant asset to Weedsport’s school community and the community at large.”
