Unity House has announced the winners of its annual awards.
Ashley Moench, the Executive Director of Nick’s Ride 4 Friends, has been selected as the 2025 winner of the Open Arms Award.
“We often rely on Ashley and Nick’s Ride for quick inpatient referrals and transportation back to participants’ home counties. Due to our own staffing limitations, getting people to and from home can be difficult. Ashley and her team have helped ensure compassionate, continuous care,” Unity House stated in a press release.
Jim Burlingame has been named the winner of the 15th Annual Fred Atkins Community Service Award. Burlingame has been involved for more than 40 years with Westminster Presbyterian Church. He has also been a volunteer with the American Red Cross and the Aurelius Volunteer Fire Department.
Both Burlingame and Moench will be presented with their awards at Unity House’s annual dinner, scheduled for 5:30p on Monday, April 28, at the Holiday Inn in Auburn.
