One Cayuga County man is hoping to keep representing his village.
Rob Thurston Junior has announced he is seeking reelection for mayor of Union Springs. Thurston has spent the past five years representing the village in positions including mayor, trustee, and on the zoning board.
While mayor, Thurston helped the village secure $10 million in DRI funding along with the Villages of Cayuga and Aurora.
Election Day will be March 18.
