The University of Rochester’s Mobile Mammography Van will be in Union Springs next month.
The mammo van will be at Frontenac Park (26 Chapel St) on April 10 from 9:00a-2:30p. The van allows those with limited access to breast cancer screenings to receive quality and potentially life-saving exams.
Women who are at least 40 years old, not pregnant or breastfeeding, and have gone at least 365 days without a mammogram are eligible to attend the event.
Appointments can be made by calling 1-844-870-0002. When scheduling your appointment, you will need to provide your insurance and physician’s contact information. If you are uninsured, you’re asked to call the state’s Cancer Services Programs at 866-442-2262.
