The Town of Owasco has announced its Spring Clean-Up event for this year.
Taking place at the town’s highway/water department on East Lake Road, Owasco residents will be able to get rid of trash, such as mattresses and old carpets, as well as electronic waste.
The event will take place Saturday, May 20th beginning at 7:00a.
If you plan to attend, you’re reminded to bring your driver’s license and vehicle registration as proof of residency.
Below is a list of prohibited items:
- anything containing Freon
- household garbage
- recyclables
- hazardous waste
- asbestos
- motor oil
- liquid waste
- fluorescent light tubes
- grease
- solvents
- paints
- cooking oil
- batteries
