Moravia residents can now submit their ideas for how the village should spend the $2.25-million it has received from New York to revitalize its downtown.
Projects can be submitted now through July 23rd to the Local Planning Committee for possible inclusion in the village’s Strategic Investment Plan which will be reviewed by the state.
Back in February, Moravia was awarded the money as part of the first round of New York Forward Funding which is aimed at supporting downtown recovery efforts in smaller and rural communities.
