A longstanding member of the Finger Lakes theatre community is being honored twice this weekend.
Bob Frame has served as the head of Cayuga Community College’s theatre troupe, Harlequin Productions, as well as being an integral member of both the Auburn Players and Merry Go Round Playhouse. He has also worked as President of the Theatre Association of New York State and served on other state and national theatre groups.
The Cayuga County Legislature has declared Saturday as “Bob Frame Day.”
Frame will also be honored at Cayuga Community College where he has spent many years teaching as their black box theatre is renamed the “Bob Frame Black Box Theatre” in honor of his accomplishments and service to the community.
Frame began working at CCC in 1979.
