An upcoming rabies vaccination clinic in Auburn will help keep your four-legged friends safe.
Hosted by the Cayuga County Health Department and Finger Lakes SPCA of Central New York, dogs, cats, and ferrets at least four months old are able to be vaccinated at the event. Dogs must be leashed and muzzled if necessary while cats and ferrets need to be in carriers. Only one animal will be accepted per carrier.
Proof of prior vaccination is required to receive a three-year rabies vaccine (ferrets will receive a one-year certificate). Rabies tags will not count as proof.
The free clinic will take place from 4:00-6:00p on Monday, October 28 at the SPCA.
While not required, pre-registration is encouraged and can be done by calling 315-253-5841.
