The City of Auburn will replace sidewalks on two streets on Auburn’s east side.
City Council voted last week to award the $113,855 contract for the city’s 2024 sidewalk replacement program to DiGeorge Construction Services LLC of Canastota. A change order was also approved allocating an additional $61,145 to allow for additional work.
Speaking on FLX Morning with Ted Baker, City Clerk Chuck Mason explained that the work will take place on Owasco Street from East Genesee Street to Lake Ave and on South Fulton Street from East Genesee to Owasco Street.
Mason added that the city expects work to begin in late summer or early fall.
