Sheriff: Wednesday’s Storms Litter County Waterways with Debris/Hazards

The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is warning boaters to use caution.

Due to Tuesday’s storms, a significant amount of debris and hazards are being reported in the county’s lakes and waterways. Some of the hazards may not be visible from the surface.

The sheriff’s office is advising caution over the coming days and weeks.
