Sheriff Schenck Taking Part in Polar Plunge Fundraiser

SHARE NOW

Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck and members of the sheriff’s office are once again participating in the annual Oneida Shores Polar Plunge fundraiser.

Back for their third year, the Cayuga County Lock-ins will brave the chilly waters of Oneida Lake to raise money to support Special Olympics New York athletes. Funds raised will go to support athletes, allowing them to participate in training, activities, and competitions at no cost to them.

The team is hoping to surpass their $10,000 goal. Donations can be made here.

The plunge takes place at noon on December 8 at Oneida Shores Park (9400 Bartell Rd, Brewerton, NY).
