One local museum is celebrating after winning an award from the Museum Association of New York (MANY).
The Seward House in Auburn has been named a recipient of a Board of Directors Special Achievement Award of Distinction for their exhibit Rooted in Reform. The exhibit explores the Seward family’s role in the creation of Auburn Prison.
MANY gives the award to projects or individuals deserving special recognition and is considered the highest honor awarded by the association.
The Seward House will be recognized for its achievement at MANY’s annual conference in April in Ithaca.
