The 7th Annual Senior Resource Fair will return to the Fingerlakes Mall later this month.

The event, hosted by the Cayuga County Office for the Aging, will run from 8:30a-1:00p on Wednesday, September 24. Registration for door prizes will take place at the Savannah Bank entrance and the food court area.

At 9:00a, the office will share information about programs and services as well as hear suggestions on how it can help address the challenges of aging.

Registered Dietitian Vicky Lounsbury will host “Nutrition BINGO” at 10:00a, followed by guest speaker Greg Olsen, Director of the New York State Office for the Aging at 11:00a.

Attorneys from Boyle & Anderson, P.C. will provide brief senior legal consultations from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30p.

Additionally, the office will provide Medicare information, benefits eligibility screening, long-term care options, and cognitive screening. There will also be over 60 vendors with information about services available in the county. Flu shots, vision, and health screenings will be available at the event.

The event is free, and seniors can request a ride to the mall from the SCAT Van by calling 315-253-0996 by September 17.
