Half a million dollars is going to various organizations throughout Central New York to strengthen education, community service, and public safety.
State Senator Rachel May announced on Monday that $50,000 of that funding will go to Auburn schools for tutoring resources. $20,000 will go to Cayuga County Health Networks’ Street Outreach and Wellness program.
“It is crucial that we support these organizations to improve life for Central New York residents. Each plays a vital role in ensuring that our community has access to essential needs such as food, education, housing, and safety. The positive changes this funding will bring to our community are inspiring and promising.
