Cayuga and Onondaga County youth have a chance to learn the inner workings of state government.
State Senator Rachel May is accepting applications for the Senate Youth Advisory Board. For 2024, the board’s primary focus will be on environmentalism. Members will plan and implement two events: the State of the Youth Rally and a Climate Justice Rally.
Applications are open to district residents aged 12-24. The 48th State Senate District covers all of Cayuga and parts of Onondaga counties. The deadline to apply is January 22.
Application information can be found on Senator May’s website.
