Restaurant Week returns to Cayuga County next month for its eighth year.
Created by the Chamber of Commerce, the event sees participating restaurants throughout the county offer nine days of deals. Speaking on FLX Morning, Amy Fuller with the chamber said the goal of the annual event is to provide an economic boost to restaurants during the post-holiday slump in business.
“Because after the holidays, it’s crickets, especially for evening dining and especially if the weather doesn’t cooperate,” Fuller said. “If people know they’re getting a deal, they’ll brush the car off and go and have some dinner somewhere. It’s been a great boost for [Participating restaurants].”
Restaurant Week 2024 runs January 19-27.
Fuller added the chamber will soon add an updated list of participating restaurants on its website.
