Registration is now open for Unity House’s Annual Board and Award Dinner.
The dinner scheduled for April 28 at the Holiday Inn in Auburn will recognize the board of directors’ dedication to Unity House’s mission as well as celebrate volunteerism and caring in the community. Jim Burlingame of Westminster Presbyterian Church and Ashley Moench of Nick’s Ride 4 Friends will also be honored, respectively, with the Fred Atkins Community Service Award and the Open Arms Award.
Amanda Maestro-Scherer, owner and founder of Maestro Music Therapy, will be the event’s guest speaker. She will present Where Words Fail, Music Speaks: The Impact of Music Therapy at Unity House.
All registrations must be made by 4:00p on April 22. Tickets can be purchased here.
The nonprofit provides services to those with mental illnesses, developmental disabilities, and/or substance use disorders in Cayuga, Onondaga, Ontario, Oswego, Seneca, Tioga, Tompkins, and Wayne Counties.
