You can now register for the Owasco Watershed Lake Association’s annual Bob Brower Scientific Symposium.
Titled Owasco Lake: At its Tipping Point, the symposium will be held from 9:00a-12:00p on March 8 at Auburn Public Theater. The event will also be streamed via Zoom.
Speakers include Tony Prestigiacomo with the DEC, Kim Schulz with SUNY ESF, Ben Kelley and Lisa Cleckner with the Finger Lakes Institute, and Dr Adam Effler with the Owasco Lake Watershed Management Council. Topics to be discussed include water quality, harmful algal blooms, the Owasco Lake Buoy Program, and 9 Element Plan implementation projects.
