What is happening to the former Key Bank in downtown Auburn?
Muldrow Properties and Fred Straus Inc are looking to turn the 115 Genesee Street property into a multi-purpose facility.
The real estate developers have dubbed the space “The Atrium on Genesee.” They claim the 25,000 sq ft of rentable space will become a vibrant hub for downtown, featuring space for possible bars, coffee shops, office spaces, and more.

Witnessing the creativity and ingenuity of the Auburn community has inspired us to re-imagine its potential as a central hub for the area. The atrium’s tremendous ceiling heights and glass windows create an expansive space with a view of the center of downtown. We are working with business leaders and community members to develop the space and are looking for tenants to be part of creating a vibrant Atrium on Genesee,” said Steven Straus, CEO of Fred Straus Inc.”
While no date for an official grand opening has been announced, the Atrium is currently searching for tenants.
