The Cayuga County Health Department and the Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY are partnering for an upcoming free rabies vaccination clinic to help keep your four-legged pets safe.
The event is open to dogs, cats, and ferrets four months or older. Dogs must be leashed (and muzzled if necessary), while cats and ferrets must be in carriers (with one animal allowed per carrier).
Proof of prior vaccination must be presented in order to receive a three-year rabies vaccine. Rabies tags are not acceptable proof.
The clinic will take place on Friday, November 14 from 4:00-6:00p at the SPCA’s newly renovated facility. While not required, organizers recommend that those interested in attending the clinic pre-register by contacting the SPCA at 315-253-5841 or pre-register online.
