A shelter in place in the city of Auburn Friday night after a person threatened to take their life. The individual surrendered to police just before midnight.
Residents in the area of Frances Street and South Seward Avenue received messages at around 7 o’clock. A number of law enforcement agencies were on scene until midnight Saturday morning as were fire and ambulance. Our Ed Vivenzio was on scene and spoke with a family member who said the individual was in crisis and there was no threat to the community.”
