Petitions are now available to run for one area school board. If you live in the Moravia Central School District, you can pick up a petition at the District Office.
Signatures of 25 qualified voters are required to run and petitions must be filed with the District Clerk by close of business on April 22.
Two seats are up for grabs this year with terms lasting for three years.
Voting will take place on May 21 along with the annual meeting and budget vote. Polls will be open from 7:00a-9:00p.
School Board members must be at least 18 years old and live or have lived in the district for at least a year before the election.
