One Airlifted to Upstate After Being Struck by Vehicle in Sennett

One person was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle Friday morning in Sennett.

According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened just before 7:00a on North Street Road near Potter Road. The driver was travelling north on North Street Road when hit the pedestrian who was in the northbound lane. The vehicle’s operator was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing and the names of those involved are not being released at this time.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sennett Fire Department, AMR, LifeNet, Auburn Police Department, NYS DOT, and Cayuga County 911.
