There was a special guest yesterday at an Auburn Church service.
New York State Attorney General Letitia James attended the morning service at the Harriet Tubman Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church. James was in CNY this weekend to promote the state’s gun buy-back program. She told the congregation that 3,056 guns were turned in statewide and 700 in Syracuse.
It was James’ second visit to Auburn as attorney general. In 2021, she toured the Equal Rights Heritage Center.
A truly blessed Sunday spent at the Harriet Tubman Memorial AME Zion Church in Auburn.
I was honored to join this congregation and meet Harriet Tubman’s great great grandniece, Pauline Copes Johnson. pic.twitter.com/M4UXIGMJ3k
