As the Moravia Central School District continues its search for its next superintendent, the Board of Education is seeking community members for a committee to assist in the search process.
The BOE announced on Thursday that it is seeking community members to join a Community Stakeholder Committee. The committee will assist in reviewing candidates and providing feedback to the board.
Interested community members will need to complete a registration form before the February 27 deadline.
The BOE added that the form is intended for parents and community members who are not district employees. For students, faculty members, or staff interested in participating, the district said information will be shared through building principals and association and district leadership in the coming weeks.
Additionally, the district and search consultant plan to create other stakeholder groups that “reflect the diverse perspectives within our school community.”
