Speaking with Finger Lakes News Radio on an earlier occasion, Quill said he is grateful to the people of Auburn for allowing him to serve for 16 years.

Quill’s last day will be New Year’s Eve; he will be succeeded by current City Councilor Jimmy Giannettino.
