The man who cut a Corrections Officer in the neck last October will spend more time in prison.
According to the Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office, Darryl Bradshaw was sentenced to 2-4 additional years of incarceration for the Attempted Assault conviction.
On June 1, 2023, Bradshaw pled guilty to attacking the CO, who was among a group of officers trying to remove Bradshaw from his cell at the Cayuga Correctional Facility in Moravia. The incident occurred on October 16, 2022, and involved a contraband weapon.
The extra time will run consecutively to his current sentence.
