A Long Island man convicted of assaulting two corrections officers while incarcerated at Auburn Correctional Facility in 2022 has been sentenced by Judge Jon Budelmann.
Windsor Coleman was sentenced to 14 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision. District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci said Coleman was sentenced to seven years for each of two charges of assault and the sentences will run consecutively.
The 35-year-old Massapequa man was convicted in July following a jury trial that he refused to appear. Coleman is currently serving time at Attica Correctional Facility.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Amanda Raub and Special Counsel to District Attorney Mark Moody.
